    Nice work GLS
Everything looks nice, particularly like the start of that keep.

This is really lovely. I always liked those old timey maps with insets of localities. Really great idea.

Very cool, GLS. I would love to see it painted if you get to that, especially those forests.

    I enjoy your names, too!

Thanks everyone, I'm pleased the close-up insert has gone down well, because I've never tried doing something like that before!

I'm pleased you like the names. I usually take a while to come up with them and for this map they're a very broken form of Icelandic (good ol' google translate ).
As for painting it, I'm still undecided. I may do, but it won't be until after everything else, because I'm not so practiced with paints as I could be. Still, we'll see, as those forests do need a little more life breathed into them.

Hopefully I'll do another update in a couple of days or so (I guess for the anniversary, though it likely won't be complete).

*EDIT* Also thanks to whomever updated the name for me!

Nice work GLS! The names have their own flair and the fortress is already excellent.

Nice lineworks. The city is a good idea.

This is coming along nicely. The mountains and forests look good, and the city is a nice touch.

I haven't added too much to the main map since last time, so don't worry about updating the overall map just yet Redrobes! (And don't you worry, the final version will be a lovely, scanned-in version with clean edges and everything! )

Anyway, here's a rather poor photo I took a few minutes ago just to give an idea of where it is at. I won't bother putting the WIP before, because it is a pretty bad photo and I don't want to give Redrobes unnecessary trauma dealing with it, if he misses this post and accidentally integrates it into the big one.

As you can see, I added a serpenty compass...

Also, thank everyone so much for their comments!
