Thread: Vorgul Village

    Default Vorgul Village

Time to get some hings finished so I can start new projects. This is a village I roughly sketched out a while ago. It's a small trbal coastal village built on some ruins. I've finished most of the linework - just need to colour it now.

Ah, glad to see you back posting new work Larb.
The layout looks nice. Interesting and different building shapes, which is refreshing.
The rocky bits and piers look splendid. Always happy to see more.

The dock is well made and the texture of the roofts and houses are old. What time period is this? Seems like a fairly Young village before Medieval times. But then again...

Ooh, I like how you've done the coastline and those docks. Look forward to seeing this completed.

I really like what you did, the line work is very good and, as someone already said, these roofs are a good change. I especially like the mix between stone ruins and this somewhat less technically advanced settlement.

For me, there could be a minor improvement by adding a water source (a river or a well) and maybe one or two different kind of ruin, maybe some old building repurposed. Anyways I find your work very inspiring so, thanks.

This looks good so far, Larb.

If the black dots on the piers are supposed to be places where the wood has fallen away, you might want to find a better way to depict that. I'm looking forward to seeing it colored. What is that on the island?
