    Maybe just some transparency on the field and other textures to tone them down some, looks really nice so far, good forest shapes.

    The fields looks a lot better, imho. And I like those sheeps (is there wolves or an ogre around ?). Interesting compass.

    I think the end is near. I add the "fantasy" touch, names etc...

    fyi, the sheeps were former cows
    and there's no ogres but north-west of the village, there's a place called "chantaloubes", meaning singing wolves in local patois where the wolves gathered and howled back in the end of the 19th century, before hunters killed all the wolves in France.
    Just to let you, my grandma house is the one on the left of the blacksmith.
