Very good map, I like it!

    My 2 cents:
    - Is the city in a desertic region? The terrain colour is so... yellow that seems nothing will grow
    - Also, is the river wide enough to support a waterway? If so, a small port could spring down the cliffs.

Another change in the style, developing the terrain further from its original base/data

Yes, the last one is certainly an improvement on the first update. This is turning out great!

    Oh thank you!!!.

My last update of the day, i have listened to critiques and I will add a tiny river port once i add more buildings, and no its not supposed to be dry (i just don't want to overwhelm the whole thing with colour).

    Vicious critiques welcomed!

I like the added farm fields, though I'm not so sure about the trees which seem to be shown from the side in an otherwise top-down map. Perhaps you could try to add a very subtle shade of grey-ish green to the terrain. That would make the terrain seem less like it's somewhere in a desert. Really dig this map though, keep it going!

Way to large for my taste....Wish people did smaller towns more often..
I do like the artistic aspects of the Map

This is a huge improvement on the last WIP.

Its a much better map altogether... though I have to admit that Daniel Hasenbos is probably right about the mismatching aspect of the tree symbols?

Thank you all, yeah I can make new tree symbols , and about the size, its actually a small town for the setting with no more than 70k people, this is part of a series of maps and illustrations for my own fiction project which has a few larger towns cities that are also being map atm.

Unless very large parts of it are abandoned I would've guessed more like at least 300-500k, it'd be able to do a million, provided it had the requisite infrastructure.

Quite an interesting style you've got here. I like it's simplicity. The Mt./Hill contours look great BTW, and the few bursts of color from the river/heraldry really bring the map to life. Keep up the great work!

    Cheers,
