Default 56 - Cross Parc [Straf]

I've just been surveying the land and getting a feel for it. I've marked out what I reckon an acre is, and also chains and furlongs. 8 furlongs in a mile. The larger square that's been marked out represents half a furlong by half a furlong and covers 2.5 acres. So multiplying the length of one side would give a mile.

2.5 acres is roughly 1 hectare, give or take.

Yes - the grey-ish lines are the sort of main-secondary roads.
things can be changed, as long as you work it out with the neighbors, if you have neighbors.
Oddly, I sort of thought these plots of land would be slightly larger

    Are we doubling the scale?

You can double or triple or whatever, it will just get reduced a bit in the end for the zoom map.
I will double or triple my own maps.

Oh sorry - when you said you thought it would be larger than that I thought you meant the scale of the whole city...

And sorry Straf! I was thinking to interrupt you before you went any further - in case the scale was to be changed.

Bigger as in more acreage or bigger as in the size of the image?

as in acreage. But it actually seems fine now that I started testing it.
Some sections may be smaller and some are quite large.

I've taken my comments back over to the main thread - not fair to fill up your WIP with them here

I think the acreage is OK. It makes it challenging to get everything in. I don't know what I'm going to call this district yet, but there are a fair few alchemist types around the place so maybe I'll call it Pb-2-Au Although it could be the Druid Village or something. Anyway a lot of things made or produced here are *cough cough* for medicinal purposes. Although I can't say whether a sample of two has ever found its way into Bogie's Hideout

EDIT: Oops, forgot to include the WIP:

Wow. You're way ahead of everyone else as far as planning things out!

When you decide the title you will have to ask John to change it for you. We can't change thread titles.
