Here's my first draft. I've made some adjustments to my scale to make the hall grounds fit in the alloted space. It's still big, lol. I also jotted some ideas for some admin bldgs. Any thoughts?

If it's still too big or an eye sore I can still Possibly shrink it some more. It's kind of like a capitol building.

I think we need at least one enormous building in the city. It seems that if nothing else, the entire city would have a giant administrative building that looks sort of like a compass.

I spent some more time laying out some roads and masking off the boundary for ease. I think I might enjoy this!

Update, did some cartoony color work...this is without my wife's color vision, so the browns may be reds (I'm color blind, sorry). Also, there's a lot of temporary layer effects that will eventually be replaced by texture or some other attempt at hand drawn styling.

I've also placeholdered some tree copses that overlap the border, which may not be appropriate and will have to be coordinated with my neighbors.

So much more work to do.

Looking very well planned out, Robbie. Its a shame you aren't next door to Kacey. I think she was hoping for a woodland of some kind

Oh I wish it was more planned, it's play it by ear right now really. Of course the guild hall was pre designed but I've already made some changes to it and am planning more I think.

As for wooded, I don't think it's meant to be wooded at all. Those copses of trees are probably groupings maybe 3 to 5 trees thick at its thickest. They were probably planted by the builders of the hall as a buffer for the temples next door.

Speaking of which, I loaded up Pixies map and aligned it with mine and found I needed to cut the trees back a bit. I'll leave the final choice of buffering up to Pixie... And if that solution is better than mine, I'll eagerly adapt.
