Default Looking for High Resolution World Map for a High Fantasy RPG world

Hi folks, as it says in the title, I am looking for a high resolution world map that can be cropped down into smaller portions. For this project, the artist would have complete creative control over the entire map, including names of settlements, regions and continents. (For the more important cities, towns and landmarks we'd work together.)

It would be a parchment style map like these examples:

There is no particular deadline on this work, so it could be worked on as a side project. The artist would retain full copyrights to the map, as I would only be using it for personal use. If the work is truly exceptional, I would of course pay for the artist's time. That can be negotiated.

If anyone is interested, I can send a more thorough list of features about the world. (What races would exist, some of the lore of the world that might help flavor the map etc.) In your reply, please post some examples of your past work, along with an estimate of how much time you think you would spend on a full sized world map. If you are requiring payment, please also include a quote.

Thanks guys! I look forward to hearing from you.

Edit: Taking the advise of the great and glorious Greg, I'm including my email, which is benmans1 [at] me [dot] com. In terms of size, refer to Greg's first link I was imagining a map like that would be one of the cropped pieces. It would represent a continent, and the world would have 2-3 continents with some nice large oceans. Im new to this, so feel free to tell me if that is a completely unreasonably sized map haha. Thanks folks!
