Map The Border at the River

Here's another map I started on the IPad...

It's an image that popped in my mind some time ago... I have no idea where it come, what it means or represent... But I tried to draw it.

    Here's what I came with :

Name:	The border at the river 04.jpg
Views:	181
Size:	9.11 MB

Here's the short WIP I made when I passed this project from the Ipad to the computer.
The line work and colors of the trees were made on Ipad, then I made the colors and shadows on PS.
I used PS to add textures with my colors, especially for the tower's walls. I added some colors effect on the forest too with PS, and, again, PS for the reflection in the river

Cool! and very intriguing. I love when that kind of inspiration happens.

it's a cool piece JO! Pretty ominous atmosphere you have going there - I wouldn't want to be the one trying to get in without being noticed!

Great job on this, -Jo- , and the concept is very cool! I especially love how you did the reflections in the water... looks almost real!
The mist is also a nice addition.

Thanks... It's always strange, because I really don't know where it's coming from... I tried to remember if it's in a movie, or something else, but I can't find it...

Thanks ! I think it would be possible if you're a good swimmer... of if you pay the guards... or if you can fly over, attached to the claws of a dragon.... Well, there's always ways to pass even the better guarded defences

Thanks ! I used this tutorial (adapted) for the reflections. I had to change some parameters and make several trial to obtain more or less what I wanted, but it did the trick !
