The Polishing of Scabre-Bone Island

I am creating this thread to finish my February-March Lite challenge. I had finished the map itself for the challenge but then life caught up with me as I went to do the border. I plan to fix that now. Here is a penciled draft of the border. The border gives the location of the dreaded Sabre-Bone's treasure. If one follows the border, starting with the ship, it will take you around the island. If you trace the path it leads you on, it will create an X over the treasure.






I could use advice for areas that are not recognizable, to help me refine it so that it is more recognizable. Any other advice for the border would be greatly appreciated.

(I hope that the pencil comes out well enough with all of the details)

Thanks ChickPea! Sorry for taking so long to respond here. My life has really picked up speed!



Here is another update for the map. I have completed a bit over half of the border's pen-work. As mentioned above life has really gotten busy so I am not putting the time aside into mapping that I would wish to. It will soon calm down though and I can go back to regularly mapping! In the mean-time, here is the update. Comments and constructive criticism is welcome!
