Thread: Camp map

    Map Camp map

My reenactment group asked me to draw a map of our camp at a future event. It is a bit of a tricky place to make a camp because in the garden where the event is taking place there is only one small section with flattish ground with enough empty space for a tent. Everywhere else is either too steep, paved with cobblestones or with very dense shrubbery.

The map is just for our own reference and didn't need to be visually appealing at all but I wanted to take the chance to practice a bit but also keep it clear and to the point without spending too much time on purely aesthetic details.

Nice job on this. Looks good and is very clear and readable.

I like your style....Since the map is both aesthetic and functional I might add some standard cartographic elements, such as a north arrow and a distance scale.
