The Old Palace of the Monarch | GE

Hey everyone! =)

This is located in basically the same sunken part of the city and depicts the old palace of the ruling monarch. I cut it open at some places and kept only the base lines so you can look inside where the perspective otherwise would cover something important.

This one was done as one of two isometric maps for the Havena-Box / Map-Set for 'The Dark Eye' 5th ED earlier this year. I really liked working on that box, it felt more experimental than I thought to go away from landscape cartography to focus on more detailed maps. Kept the color palet somewhat mysterious as the last light of the day hits the sunken western part of the city.

No 3D involved, it was done completely by hand.
