Tower of the Moon

I'm developing an RPG adventure map called "Tower of the Moon". It is designed by David Pulver, a well known RPG writer, and he provided some rough sketches. I translated those into an isometric map for the adventure. Here is the WIP. Still some details to add, then I'll color it.


If your curious, here are the rough sketches he sent (on the left), and my initial attempts to translate them into isometric.

Very nice start!

One thing I noticed: The view of the inside suggests thick walls while here they're actually just a line. I think you should draw them aswell.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the warm welcomes I've received. Here is the first color pass, and added a few more details.



I'll be touching up some of the things mentioned here, like thickening the walls, and integrating the Moon symbol on the peak of the roof more as I finish it.

The colours are looking really nice. Is the space on level 2 open to level 1? Because it partly straddles the corridor as well as the big room.

Is the space on level 2 open to level 1?

Yes, I tried to make it obvious that it is an open balcony overlooking the area below. It is clarified in the written text of the adventure, but if its not reading clearly in the art I need to improve that.

Its looking good to me. As far as the balcony, maybe adding some railing would help punch it home (and help prevent the unwary from falling, perhaps ).
