Wizard's Egg Isometric Arcanepunk Map

Hungry for tips on this one. First shot at colouring up an isometric map. This one will get published with an adventure I'm working on. Any ideas on how to make the cut-away look better? The area that is neither shell nor rooms doesn't look right to me.

Not my area of expertise (assuming one might exist), but try replacing the white "insides" of the egg with the same color as the outside. I'm not sure if the color should be lighter or darker than the outside, but try both. The white does give the impression that you are looking at the inside of an egg.
