Default The Lands of Jura (3rd Version)

    Hey all

I've been absent for a long while due to the world turning upside down. Recently got settled again to begin drawing and ended up attempting a map for the third time. Experimenting with a much more illustrated look and semi succeeding and semi failing.

I was bought Jared Blando's "How to draw fantasy & RPG maps" which gave me a lot of inspiration to try new things.

I've also added in my first and second version of the map to show the progression. Any feedback is welcome, as I say, I struggled somewhat with the painting process.

Version 3 looks awesome. The map looks very organic and it pops.

This is great! I love the sketchy style. And thanks for sharing your earlier versions too. It's really interesting to see how you've progressed. The newest version's definitely the best, imho.

Thank you for the kind comments.

Someone asked why Blexley doesn't have a fortification or something before the river, given that it looks pretty lawless that side of the river. Which is a good point. I'll add in a watchtower.
