***June 2021 Challenge Voting - Map a Magical Portal***
The challenge for the month of June was to create a map involving a magic portal or wormhole. This proved a popular challenge, judging by the number of entries and happily we have a panoply of quite excellent offerings as a result. Now it's time to choose among them a winner (or winners). This should prove challenging given the consistent quality of work on display. But whoever claims this title shall receive the highly coveted golden compass award. In addition to casting your votes, please be sure to generously rep our challengers. Polls shall be open for three days.

So my first introduction to sci-fi and fantasy was John Carter. To this day, I still can't resist a pulp classic, so Matte's Proxima map got my first vote ever so easily. I can just see this on the cover of an old pulp magazine.
After that, it got a little tougher, but I eventually settled on Rubikia's Project Bifrost. Again, that kind of pulpish feel. And lastly Paritegic's Astral Sky as I found it very intriguing.
That being said, all the entries were great this time around, and I am hoping to see more of them in the future. Maybe even through a portal or wormhole.
