Nitha, the re-redoing of a map

The February challenge was to redo a past map. This was the map I decided to remake:



This was what I finished with as my challenge entry (Town, city and fortress icons are my own. Forest, hills, and mountains are made using Lumbia brush set provided by K. M. Alexander.):



But I no longer have the original GIMP file, just the JPEG, so I'm going to remake it again and try to do better. This is going to be slow going, as challenges are going to keep me pretty busy during mapping time, but there's no deadline on this one, so slow and steady.
