Black and White Map, "The Lost Kingdom"

My goal with this one was to try and get a lot of detail and complexity in at a kingdom-level scale (as opposed to some of the city maps I've done). I haven't done a color version yet, but I'm thinking about it!

This was drawn in Photoshop with a Wacom. I finished hand drawing in all the trees when I realized I probably could have made a custom brush and saved myself a load of time... oh well.

I really dig those forests. Making a brush would've saved a lot of time, but this has the virtue of looking totally unique and hand-drawn, something that's often difficult to replicate with a brush.

That's a good point! I don't know if I'd like the look as much if I used a brush.
