Map of Los Angeles
I am looking for a cartographer who can create a map of the Los Angeles area (going as far north as Oxnard and as far south as Orange County) highlighting a variety of buildings, parks and public works. This is in honor of my husband's upcoming 70th birthday - we want to create a map that showcases all the buildings he worked on over the course of a long career as a developer of low-income senior citizen and disabled housing, as a consultant on numerous market-rate housing and commercial developments, and as a local government employee. There are about 40 such "projects" in all that I would want to include. I have photos/websites of most of them and the idea would be to either insert the photos or perhaps draw pictures of them on the map. It's certainly not a "fantasy" map but I am hoping it will be creative, whimsical and fun! Happy to pay the going rate for this effort. Please reply! (PS the deadline for the work is March 19.)
