Whatever it is the decision but I think that if a new Challenge is wanted it needs to be started now and kept till end of December, so people will have time , or may be even till End of January ... I guess people willhave more tme during the holidays.
May be cold be called Ed of Year Challenge.
Just to add to all of this: it's been a VERY long time since I've done much here (y'know the usual: life, work etc.), but I have recently been thinking of getting back into it. I figured that either a monthly challenge or my still unfinished GuildWorld/GuildCity projects would be a good method.
So, in short, I hope the CLs get their rest and recuperation, and relaunch these challenges! It would really help me (and, hopefully, others like me) to dive back into this great hobby!
