    Default The Pristine Forest

Hi all, I've been working hard on this map this weeks (I still have nightmares bout all this trees )

This will be the map for my next adventure, so I write down only few points of interest, those that probably the players will visit. The place is part of and older map, the Nordarn Kingdom, and the main river in there is the Rapid river in the kingdom map.

    Hope you like it

It looks great, and I can see why you're having tree trauma!

I like how you've drawn the elevation and I love the little bits like the panther den peeking out from the trees. The inset maps on the right are very nice. I did find the labels in the forest area a little hard to read because they're quite small and don't stand out very well against the green-ish background. They look fine on the larger insets on the right though.

Very nice work overall, and I hope your players appreciate it!

I'm really liking this map. The shading is great, you can really see where the elevation changes. You've also done a great job of making the forest look organic and varied, with this type of map it's too easy to end up with all the trees looking the same.

Hehe, I can just image the trees were a struggle. They are a lot of times.

I really like the map! It is good. One small thing I wondered about was the necessity of the man in the bottom corner. Further than that, really great work.

Thank you all for the kind words, ChickPea, Wminish and Xcali.
I changed the labels in the forest so now they are more readeble.
About the druid in the illustration on the bottom left, I made it because this forest is protected by a group of druids, and the adventure will be centered on the misterious disappear of all of them.
