*** April 2023 Challenge: Map a Crater ***

This month's challenge was provided by Bogie, who correctly guessed the topic of the last challenge.

Map a Crater. Gives lots of possibilities. SciFi fans can map a crater on a moon, others may do a regional map with a large asteroid impact crater, or a volcanic crater. There could be a Dungeon built into the crater or a Dragon's Lair. In the Dragon Rider's of Pern, many of the Weyrs were build into volcanic craters. Lots of options.

I should note that my information on the youngest crater seems to have been wrong, and Turambar was right. The youngest crater is in Saudi Arabia and is around 200 years old. But it was discovered in 1932. It didn't actually impact* the guessing of the challenge topic though, because Wingshaw had already guessed correctly before I posted that clue. So...

Congrats! Wingshaw was the first person to guess this month's topic correctly; the prize this time around was that the winner would have an extra week (or so) head-start to work on their challenge entry. So Wingshaw, if you're entering this month, you can feel free to start your thread and show us any work you've done so far. No pressure!
