    It is a good color scheme, actually. I like the perspective too. For a narrow-framed image, it feels "wide".

    It is more bright than I thought it would be, but it is not bad! Like, the colour scheme gives me a vibe for like the hobbit map, or some kind of children story in the 1970s/90s. I mean it is strangely familiar and I like that! I wouldn't change the colours ... and I loved the texture!

    I like very much the feeling of this map. Maybe because of the colors or maybe because ofthe valley with the river, but it gives to me a good vibe.

    Thank you all! I am feeling much better about the color scheme after all of your comments.

    Here is my latest iteration. It may be done, unless I decide to change the labeling. What do you think?

    Nice job with the pointillism texturing, especially on the mountains. It's easy to go overboard with that, but it looks great here. Really effective way to sell the shadowing on the mountains.

    Thanks Diamond! It is a new technique for me, so glad it turned out looking good.
