I don't know why, but I really love the orange dots for the towns against the more muted greys and blues - it stands out, but not in a distracting way. Win!

The only suggestion I have is that I think the mountains might look better with more definition.

I think this is a very clean and simple style, and it's very appealing. Having said that, I find myself wishing for a bit more in the sea area. There's so much plain blue with nothing to break it up. Are you planning on adding a cartouche or some other decorative items? There's an awful lot of empty space especially towards the top right.

Thank you! I am planning a compass rose and a nicer border. A cartoshe is a good idea. Will also test some waves.

    Thanks!
Definition? A bit thinner lines and more detail?

Nice! Grey forests might work, but I think they need to stand out from the color of the sea a bit more.

Good map. The soft colors works very well, and it's very clean. I agree with Diamond about the mountains, and I would also have reduced the sea around the frame.
